Empty Houses

Even if this is exaggerated (but I pulled some information from across the web and it doesn't seem to be), this is just plain wrong. I know there are a lot of people in this country who blame the poor for being poor. These people like to mention the fact that they made it with hard work and the poor should do the same. Yes, they may have put in the hard work, but I am sure they all received a little help along the way. When someone stumbles, we will often reach out a hand to help them up. This isn't offering them something they don't deserve; helping someone who stumbles and falls is just the right thing to do.

If we are ever going to be the strong, unified country most of us want, something has to change.
